I started UR Neighbor when I was 14. Our family's lawn service stopped showing up and ghosted us, and we weren't the only ones; some of our neighbors were dealing with the same thing. After my dad bought a small zero-turn mower, I started helping our neighbors with their lawns. One lawn became two, then a neighborhood, and before I knew it, URNeighbor's Mow-R-Service was born.
If you see me working, there's a good chance you'll see my dad with me. He's an Army veteran, and I've learned a lot from watching his work ethic, discipline, and commitment over the years. These days, he helps me mow, trim, haul, and do whatever else needs to get done. But just to be clear, it's my company, and I'm still very much the boss. 😆
Honestly, having my dad work alongside me is about more than getting the job done. It's time we get to spend together, and him helping me has become one of the best ways for us to bond. I may be the boss, but I'm lucky to have him by my side.
I've come a long way from that first small zero-turn mower and wagon. Today, I'm working with commercial-grade equipment, serving more customers, and expanding into the surrounding neighborhoods. But as UR Neighbor grows, I'm committed to keeping the personal service that started it all: knowing my customers, caring about their properties, and being someone they can count on. My goal is to grow alongside the community I'm proud to live in and serve, one neighbor at a time.
When we say we're coming, we're coming.
No disappearing. UR Neighbor shows up when expected, and if something genuinely gets in the way, we communicate.
You'll never be left wondering what's going on.
Weather, equipment problems, schedule changes, or an issue with the property- we communicate.
We don't just mow it. We take ownership of it.
We treat your property with care, pay attention to the details, and follow through on what we say we'll do.
